The Central Hokkaido Backcountry Ski and Snowboard School provides backcountry snowsports instructors to tour operators around Asahikawa, Hokkaido. Blessed with incredible snow and terrain to suit all abilities, this region is the perfect place to build backcountry skills and experience.

Our instructors are qualified ski guides who will take our guests into the mountains to teach fundamental backcountry snowsports skills including avalanche safety, terrain selection, weather interpretation, safe travel protocols, uphill travel, powder skiing and snowboarding techniques, and rescue skills. We pride ourselves on safe trips that help our guests gain the confidence and skills they need to enjoy the mountains.
